September 30th marks Orange Shirt Day, a day of remembrance and respect to honour the students and survivors of Canada's Residential School system.
On this day, Canadians are encouraged to wear an orange shirt to show their support for survivors and pay respects to those who did not make it.
This years shirt is designed by Coast Salish artist Simone Diamond. This unique Coast Salish art design features Mother Bear with her two cubs. The canoe on the bottom represents the Journey of motherhood and the role this plays in Indigenous communities. Native Northwest will be donating proceeds from Every Child Matters Orange Shirt Day products to the Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund to support people and families who continue to be impacted by Residential Schools and intergenerational trauma.

- XS is size 2-4 (15 inches wide 19 inches long)
- S is size 6-8 (16 inches wide 20 inches long)
- M is size 10-12 (17 inches wide 22 inches long)
- L is size 14-16 (18 inches wide 24 inches long)
