Dilly Dally Fundraising
Giving back to community causes has always been an important part of Dilly Dally. We've donated gift cards to school fundraisers and community events to support our neighbours ever since we opened our doors in 2010.
But with your help, we've been able to expand our contributions to include monetary donations to causes that mean so much to us and our community. We can't express how grateful we are to be able to donate to such meaningful non profits.

Indigenous Fundraiser for Truth and Reconciliation Day
Sept 27 - Oct 3 2024
We donated 100% of all profits from our Indigenous Collection in honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day to two incredible organizations.
Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA). UNYA’s mission is to be a safe place for Indigenous youth to find out about programs and services and to celebrate and amplify the voices of Indigenous youth. UNYA delivers 20+ programs, including a Native Youth Health and Wellness Centre, mentoring, meditation programs, clinical counselors, an Aboriginal Outreach Team focussing on street outreach, transitional group homes and alternative schooling opportunities for Indigenous youth who aren’t having their needs met in traditional schools.
The BC Aboriginal Childcare Society is committed to ensuring that every Indigenous child in BC has access to spiritually enriching, culturally based, high quality early childhood development services.

Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal Fundraiser
March 2-11 2022
We donated 10% of our sales to the Canadian Ukraine Foundation in support of their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. This fundraiser is in response to the heartbreaking crisis the Ukrainian people are facing. The Canadian Ukraine Foundation is raising money for food packages, hygiene kits and medicine. This is a very reputable Canadian charity. The Canadian Ukraine Foundation ensures that 95% of money donated is used for direct humanitarian aid.

Red Cross B.C. Floods Fundraiser
Nov 26, 2021 - Black Friday
We donated $5 for each customer order placed on Black Friday to the Canadian Red Cross to carry out relief and recovery from the devastating flooding in BC in the Fall of 2021.
Orange Shirt Day

We donated 100% of profits from our our Indigenous Collection to the Orange Shirt Society and the BC Aboriginal Child Care Society. The Orange Shirt Society supports Residential School Reconciliation and work to create awareness of the individual, family and community intergenerational impacts of the Residential School system. They promote “Orange Shirt” activities and spread awareness of the concept “Every Child Matters”. The BC Aboriginal Childcare Society is committed to ensuring that every Indigenous child in BC has access to spiritually enriching, culturally based, high quality early childhood development services.
LGBTQ+ Pride Fundraiser
July 27th - Aug 15th 2021
We donated 100% of our profits form the sale of all books in our LGBTQ+ book collection to QMUNITY. QMUNITY is a non-profit organization based in Vancouver that works to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people. They provide free counselling, information and referrals and youth one on one peer support. They also organize community events, workshops and other educational resources.
Anti Racism Fundraiser
June 2021
We donated 100% of our profits from the sale of any book in our Inclusivity book collection to the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF). The CRRF is a non profit organization dedicated to the elimination of racism in Canada. They provide a wide range of services, from anti-racism training in the workplace to funding grassroots anti racism events across the country. They also mentor youth to build leadership skills and support youth who create anti-racism events in their communities.
One Tree Planted Fundraiser

We planted 5 trees for every sale we made on Black Friday via @onetreeplanted.
Black Lives Matter Fundraiser
July 2020
We donated 100% of profits from the sale of any book in our Black Lives Matter Collection (now the Inclusivity Collection) to the Vancouver chapter of Black Lives Matter @blm_van and the Black Business and Professional Association @thebbpa, a Canadian non profit that address equity and opportunity for the Black community in business, employment, education and economic development.
Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society Fundraiser
October, 25 2019 - Climate Strike
We donated 20% of our sales to Canadian parks and Wilderness Society. This great organization fights to protect Canadian wilderness. This fundraiser was in solidarity with the climate striker on Oct 25.
