Quaint, adorable, and all-around magical, these entirely hand made dolls and fairies are crafted out of eco-friendly, renewable materials like felt, wool, and wood. Inspired by everything beautiful growing from the garden or forest floor, they're colourful, decorative, and educational. 

Ambrosius Prodcom is a Romanian company built up of hard-working talented ladies who make every single doll and fairy by hand, with love. Ambrosius offers work-at-home opportunities for mothers with young children, retired persons, and persons with disabilities, with all profits donated to local Waldorf schools to support education in poorer villages of Transylvania. The charm of these wee ones is noticeable right away, and we like to attribute that the charm of all the lovely crafters from which they come.  

These dolls are created for decorative purposes, like a seasonal shelf or celebration ring. They are somewhat delicate and pieces can come loose over time, so definitely not for children under 3 years of age as they pose a choking hazard. We think they can be played with gently (we certainly do in our house), especially if you don’t mind the hair getting a little fuzzy over time or the odd small flower detaching. But if you’re looking for something robust to be thrown in a bin of figures or played with roughly, you’ll definitely want to give these a pass.
